With more people logging on every day to find their salvation online we need to be more careful than ever. Unfortunately, whenever there is an influx of focus in a certain area of the economy, so follow the scams.
Over the years I have worked with and for numerous companies both over the internet and in person and have develop a knack a spotting the scams. There are a lot of similar characteristics and things to look out for.
First, go with your gut. If you are reviewing a company and can't find much information online, its probably because its brand new and wont be around tomorrow. If the website looks like it was made in 10 minutes, it probably was.
Another red flag that will come up is the overpromising company. If they tell you you can make enourmous sums of money with little to no work put you guard up. Unfortunately, you still have to work for your money on the internet, sorry to dissapoint.
So you now have you final list of companies to examine. Start by asking them all the same questions and really study how they respond. Does anyone get nervous or shifty when you start prying? If so that might be a good indication to watch out.
IF the internet has brough us anything, it has brough us information at the click of a finger, so use it. Go out and try to find some third party research companies who have reviewed the companies you are looking at. Just beware who you get your information from and make sure they are impartial, i.e. not getting paid!
Hopefully this article has not made you rule out starting your own internet business or working from home, because it can be very lucrative!
I am an internet business owner myself and love every minute of it! So get out there and find the company that best fits you. - 15254
